After-School Class Registration
Growing Mindful’s after-school classes combine art, games, STEAM, movement, and evidence-based mindfulness practices to help children build confidence, resilience, and self-awareness while learning practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater self-compassion.
Depending on the needs and interests of each group, we explore skills such as:
Regulating big emotions
Focusing attention
Breathing and calming
Recognizing strengths
Positive self-talk and growth mindset
Happiness, kindness, and gratitude
Navigating challenges and setbacks
Research shows that mindfulness can support children’s attention, self-awareness, emotional regulation, social skills, and resilience. And because mindfulness is a practice, these skills grow stronger with practice over time. Revisiting these tools gives children the opportunity to deepen their skills and learn how to apply them in new situations.
Every 6-week course features new curriculum. We learn about the students in each group - their interests, strengths, challenges, and goals - and use that insight to shape the activities, discussions, and focus areas. This means returning students can continue building on what they’ve learned while experiencing new activities and exploring new skills in each course.
Because classes are intentionally small, families complete a brief questionnaire before enrollment. This helps us get to know each child and create an experience that is meaningful and engaging for the group.
A Note About Our Classes
Growing Mindful is an educational, skills-based program—not a substitute for therapy, counseling, or behavioral treatment. Our classes are designed for children who can participate in an interactive small-group setting and are interested in learning and practicing new skills.

3. Confirm Your Spot & Register
Once we've reviewed the questionnaire and finalized the group, we'll confirm your child's spot and send you the link to complete registration and payment.
Investment: $295 for a 6 week session.
